April 24, 2024, witnessed the National Hybrid Forum entitled "The Role of Digitization
in the Governance of the Public Health Facility: Reality and Prospects”, organized by the
Governance of the Public Health Facility: Reality and Prospects”, organized by the
Economics, Commerce and Management Sciences Faculty, with the Algerian Society for
Management and Health Management.

The university family, Vice-rectors, faculties’ deans,
departments’ heads, teachers and students, with the Wilaya health sector executives, including
managers and health institutions representatives and the association members, attended the
event. The Forum Chairman, Mr. Benfarhat Abdelmounim, considered the digitization
process as the main pillar of the health sector development, and the challenges facing its
application require effective and innovative solutions. He considered digital technologies
represent an opportunity to improve the public health facilities and services.
Mr. Ismail Hijazi, the Faculty Dean, stressed on the event’s scientific and practical impact to
open up to various sectors. He highlighted the importance of digitization, governance and the
health sector on society and economy.
The Association representative stressed the event reflects the great attention of the Presidency
to Algeria’s health sector progress with the Health Ministry instructions the outcomes will be
in line with the desired results.
On behalf of the sector Director, the Health Directorate Inspector, Mr. Sid Ali Mokrani, spoke
about the digitization role in improving health services, praising the organizers for this event.
On behalf of the Rector, Mr. Abdelhamid Djeffal, the vice-rector, announced the forum
opening and praised the forum committees for its all sectors importance.
