On April 23, 2024, the University Rector, Mr. Mahmoud Debabeche, chaired a meeting of the
University expanded Council, with its members. The Rector set forth recommendations
related to the good functioning of university administrative, pedagogical and services
including:
- Better maintenance of the university’s structures and facilities, cleanliness and
reinforcement of campus security.
- Optimal care of students’ pedagogical and services concerns with dialogue approach.
- Continuous digitization with quick response to various digital platforms and activation
of electronic cards.
- Working extension of the evening scheduled hours for libraries, university facades and
doctoral discussions.
- Supporting Resolution 1275 University degree registered projects.
- Care taking of various equipment start-up institution / patent.
- Policy dialogue with university components, students’ organizations and trade unions.
The Rector then reviewed measures taken to ensure term-sheet conditions respect of the
university restaurants suppliers, for that, the University Services Director provided the
registered university recent outcomes services and steps to ensure more student comfort. After
the faculties’ deans’ detailed outcomes of the second semester’s study progress, the Vice-
rector for Pedagogy, Mr. Abdelhamid Djeffal, reviewed in figures this semester rates of
classes exceeding 90%, in addition to classes compensation, pedagogical meetings held,
platform pedagogical data progress, and a preliminary calendar of the academic year-end
2023-2024. The meeting also dealt with relevant points, from scientific research follow-up
axis, training and innovation, 2024 International Mobility Programme launch, international
cooperation programmes and agreements, to reviewing the Development and Foresight
Directorate activities by the vice-director, Mr. Elhadj Benaichi, and Mr. Laid Kahloul, of the
quality assurance cell, outcomes.
