On 6 May 2025, Biskra University Rector, Mr. Mahmoud Debabeche, held a coordination
meeting with the University representatives of the accredited student organisations attended
by the University Secretary General, Biskra University Services Director, the Pedagogy Vice-
rector, the Faculties’ Deans and the activities Sub-director.

The Rector considered the meeting to strengthen the relationship between the students and the University's administration,
referring to previous meetings held in recommendations of the Ministry of Higher Education
and Scientific Research. He also reaffirmed his full commitment to the dialogue and openness
policy with various social partners to accompany students in their scientific and cultural
activities. He also referred to the main organisational and legal procedures to follow in any
student activity, respecting the administrative controls that guarantee their success and
objectives achievement. Then, the student organisations representatives praised the efforts of
the University administration to address students’ concerns at all levels. They raised concerns
and proposals receiving positive response from the University authorities, confirming full
willingness to listen and discuss various issues to ensure the University's prestige
improvement.
